“Echoes of the Unseen”
The Echoes of the Unseen series explores transition, introspection, and the confrontation with the unknown, beckoning viewers to see beyond the concrete. Through a surreal, dream-like style, these paintings blur the line between reality and the subconscious, merging the tangible with the ethereal.
Each piece offers a glimpse into the unseen, compelling viewers to question perception, embrace intuition, and confront hidden truths. Vivid hues, symbolic imagery, and layered compositions create a visceral experience, exposing inner turmoil and repressed destruction.
The series reflects our collective anxiety and hope, capturing moments of transformation and the search for meaning amidst chaos. Through the interplay of light and dark, decay and rebirth, it celebrates human resilience, curiosity, and the relentless pursuit of understanding.

“A Thing Called Life”
Within the brushstrokes of A Thing Called Life, I explore the intricate tapestry of human existence—the hidden narratives, unspoken emotions, and delicate threads that bind us.
Each portrait is a glimpse into the unseen—whispers of intuition, echoes of memory, and the dance of serendipity. These figures embody universal experiences: hope, longing, resilience, and vulnerability.
The color palette—rich blues, warm oranges, and ethereal purples—mirrors the emotional spectrum, as if the hues themselves hold secrets. Layers dissolve, revealing glimpses of the psyche, moments of choice, and the currents of fate.
Chaotic abstract backgrounds symbolize interconnectedness—how our lives weave together, even in solitude. As viewers engage with this series, I invite them to look beyond the visible, to find their own serendipitous threads, and perhaps, to recognize the quiet magic that binds us all.

Nocturnal Passage
This series was inspired by archaic Irish streets that are brimming with folklore and are built upon rivers that connect many ancient heritage sites; a reminder of the mystical other realm lurking just beneath our own.
At night, these streets take on an uncanny atmosphere, as in their quiet emptiness they do not appear to be fully real places. They are the nocturnal version of the familiar world, where what has been quelled by the day’s light comes out to play. I roamed these maze-like streets at night and began photographing them as an exploration of the marginal, forgotten and avoided areas of society and one’s own self.
To create a sense of exploring the places within our minds that are shaped by our environment and vice versa, I portray these urban landscapes as though submerged in the murky depths of water through my style of painting. This is the passage every person must take in their lives to shed light on the darkest parts of our collective and individual psyche.

Somewhere in Between
Listen closely and you might just remember. This painting was created with a range of materials (oil paint, plaster, silicone, rust and charcoal) to resurrect what has been forgotten into a temporal space. The original was created on a 4x3' stretched canvas, to give the impression of a long lost map that is flourishing in spite of the damage and decay.

Screens Between
This work is about exploring the idea of merging multiple realities as in this age of viewing of life through many different digitalized screens, the perception of reality is becoming the new frontier in human consciousness.
This theme is portrayed through the combination of collaged photography that is embedded within the painting. This process serves as a metaphoric juxtaposition of digital reality and our own malleable perceptions of it.
